Terms of Use

The Field Recording Project is a safe community platform to share and download field recordings. Users are responsible for the recordings they upload to the project and must ensure their content is in accordance with current legislation. Recordings should not contain offensive content or breach intellectual and industrial property rights (such as copyright, trademark etc.)

All recordings on the site are held under the creative commons (CC0) License. This means our recordings are in the public domain and can be used freely in personal or professional work. The recordings can be modified/edited in any way. Attribution to the project or original recording creator is not required (although we would love for you to share what you have created with us.) Recordings cannot be sold in their original form or repackaged into a sound library for profit. By using the site, you agree to the above terms of use. We reserve the right to remove recordings or take relevant legal action if these terms are violated.
